Blood Money was made on a budget of ₹9 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹8 crore. The film has a running time of 109 minutes. The music was composed by Jeet Ganguly along with Siddharth Haldipur, Jeet Gannguli, Pranay Rijia and Sangeet Haldipur-siddharth Haldipur. Blood money features Kunal Khemu in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Amrita Puri, Teeshay Shah, Puja Gupta, Manish Chaudhari, Shekar Shukla and Mia Evonne Uyeda.
Slowly, he is pulled into the underworld. A young man elopes with the girl he loves and moves to South Africa, where he works in the diamond-exporting business. The movie is directed by Vishal Mahadkar and produced by Mukesh Bhatt.
